The Fiery-Copper HexWeight Handle

Sale price $58.00 Regular price $63.00

The Fiery-Copper HexWeight Handle (GEN 3.0) is one of the heaviest Thinket Handles ever created at 3.2 oz.

This Thinket Handle has been specially heat-treated to bring out the fiery-orange and red color tones visible in the Copper-plated surface.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This item is not a complete Thinket. Rather, it is a Thinket Handle, that can be used in combination with any GEN 3.0 (or earlier) version Thinket Slider.

The  Fiery-Copper HexWeight Handle measures 1.5" length by 1.0625" OD, and comprises a precision-machined, solid-Brass GEN 3.0 Hex-shaped Handle-shell (with a tumbled, distressed-metal surface), plated with a layer of lead-free Nickel and then coated with an outer-layer of pure, lead-free Copper-plating.

One appealing aspect of the Fiery-Copper HexWeight Handle is that the solid Copper plating can patina develop a variety of patina effects; both over time as-well-as by 'artificial inducement' through various means.

The Fiery-Copper HexWeight Handle is Handmade in the USA to fill each order.

The shipping weight of this Thinket version (not the actual weight) is approx 6 oz to allow for proper support & padding during transit.

PLEASE NOTE: All Thinket and ChessMate products are handmade to fill each customer order, and there is a workshop queue by order-date.
