The GEN 3.0 Quantum Wave (Polished Rainbow-Ti w/ Gold & Engraved Black DLC), comprises the first commercially available Polished & Rainbow-Anodized Titanium Thinket Handle, a pair of hammer-peened Genuine 24Kt. Gold-plated #6061 Aluminum Slider-Heads, and a Slider-Tube machined from #304 Stainless-Steel and coated with a Black PVD/DLC finish, then hand-engraved with silvery linework deep into the Black DLC coated surface.

This new Quantum Wave shaped Handle has a look and feel unlike any other Thinket Handle, and represents a culmination in the GEN 3.0 development phase of the Thinket's evolution.
Although the hand-engraved linework tooled into the surface of the Slider-Tube is very similar in appearance from one piece to the next, the specific workmanship for each similarly-engraved Slider-Tube is a unique creation because the lines are drawn in freehand without a physical template of any kind. This ensures that each hand-engraved piece is an original work in it's own right.
The specially grooved Slider-Heads are designed to accommodate special 15mm O-Rings for cool added haptic effects.
This Thinket form-factor adds a "reassuring-thud" effect to the soothing action called a "satisfying-bounce" that has always been delivered by every Thinket stress-relief device). The "reassuring-thud" effect was the primary motivation behind the most recent Thinket Kickstarter project called ("The Thinket Now, GEN 3.0), which was launched, funded, and successfully fulfilled in 2018.
The special new "thud" sensation is achieved by means of the custom-machined O-Ring grooves in the GEN 3.0 Slider-Heads; and several high-quality O-Rings are included with each Thinket Now for use with those grooves.
